CosmoGIRL! knows you have big dreams and big plans for your future. In fact, they believe that by the year 2024 one of you will be president of the United States! CosmoGIRL!'s mission is to teach you now the important leadership skills you'll need to lead our country in the future.

Every month in the magazine, they interview some of the most powerful people in our country: politicians, CEOs, and thought leaders. Each of them was once like you—young, full of big dreams, and a little unsure of how to achieve them. But when asked, they all could point to a moment in their young lives when they learned life lessons that helped them reach the top. For example, Meg Whitman, the CEO of eBay, learned the importance of team building while she was captain of her high school soccer team. Real estate mogul (and star of The Apprentice) Donald Trump learned about determination and drive when his dad sent him to a military academy for high school.

And now, CosmoGIRL! will share their lessons and advice with you. Each month on this Web page, you'll be able to read a profile of a different leader and discuss with your troop, fellow Girl Scouts and/or other friends the lesson that person learned.
