Zink the Zebra The Zink the Zebra patch program will help Girl Scouts realize that we are more alike than different. It’s what we are on the inside that matters and being different doesn’t mean you don’t need friends! Kelly Weil was an 11-year old girl who wrote the story about Zink. She died of cancer. While she was sick, many of her friends would not speak or play with her because she looked different due to the medical treatment she had. Zink the Zebra was an expression of how she felt, and Kelly wished that other people would never have to experience this. |
