Nursing Patch Program

Through the generosity of The Beatrice Renfield Foundation, Girl Scouts can continue to learn about the highly regarded nursing profession that serves as the backbone of our health care system. The Nursing Patch Program is an exciting and educational program that helps Girl Scouts recognize the invaluable services that nurses provide for patients, families, and communities. This program teaches girls how essential nurses are to providing high quality health care to patients in hospitals, schools, and homes. Girls participating in this patch program can enjoy activities that include learning the different body functions, how to respond in emergency situations, and interviewing nurses.
