L.I.T. - Leader in Training
Available for all girls who have completed the tenth grade, this training offers girls the unique opportunity to explore different leadership styles, enhance public speaking skills and learn about conflict resolution. This training allows participants to acquire these skills and also helps them develop and adapt activities for Daisy, Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts. Girls interested in Leader in Training must take the Program Aide (PA) training and must complete 25 hours of service. After completing the training, the Leader in Training receives an Leader in Training pin. Upon completion of the PA/ Leader in Training trainings, girls will have the opportunity to apply for a position at READ-Reading, Excellence And Discovery.
