Girl Scout Singers
Join the Irving Berlin Girl Scout Chorus– Sing a little, dance a little, and have a lot of fun! This group is made up of Girl Scouts from all over the five boroughs and is led by Director Deborah Mahaney.Rehearsals are held from 6:30pm – 8:30pm at the Girl Scout Council Headquarters in Manhattan prior to performance dates.
The Chorus performs at special events such as the Council's Annual Meeting, and arenas such as Madison Square Garden and Shea Stadium. In order to join the Irving Berlin Girl Scout Singers, girls must be 11 years old or older at the beginning of the current Girl Scout year (September 30, 2006).
