Our History

Today, as in 1912 when Juliette Gordon Low established this organization, the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York remains committed to providing opportunities to girls to help them explore their potential, advance their interests, embark on challenging careers, develop self esteem and responsibility and take these positive values successfully through adulthood as a foundation for life.
