Investing in girls improves economic development, social progress, and public health, yet programs that exclusively serve girls receive only 7% of all philanthropic dollars.

Your gift to the Girl Scouts of Greater New York will help make an immediate difference for a New York City girl, and will help girls grow into active and engaged members of their communities.

You can help by making your gift to Girl Scouts today!

Business & Entrepreneurship:
Cookie University

Sponsor one of our youngest Girl Scouts at Cookie University, where she will develop essential skills for success, including money management, decision making, goal setting, people skills, and business ethics.

Personal Identity Leadership Workshops
for Low-Income Girls

Give ten low-income middle school girls from the Bronx the self-esteem they need to grow into strong, courageous, confident young women by underwriting a day-long workshop focusing on the roles they play in the world, leadership skills, learning to speak out against stereotypes, and bullying.

Environmental Leadership: Send Girls to Camp

Send four teenage girls to Camp Kaufmann, where they will learn teamwork at our challenge course, discover a love of science and nature in our outdoor classrooms, learn to swim, and develop heathy eating habits and essential life skills.

Expanding Horizons: Urban Day Camp

Sponsor a girl in our new 8-week summer Girl Scout program (to launch in Summer 2016). Each camp will be based in a low-income NYC neighborhood, and will include excursions to parks, beaches, and outdoor spaces throughout NYC giving girls — many of whom would not otherwise leave their neighborhoods — access to nature and outdoor programming.

STEM: Robotics Team Sponsorship

Fund one team of elementary school girls in our year-long Robotics program, which gives them hands-on experience in engineering and computer programming while boosting their interest and confidence in STEM fields.

Your gift - of any amount - will help us reach girls with
substantive, leadership development programs.
