
Christina Norman

Christina Norman is a media executive with more than 15 years experience working in television, most recently serving as President, MTV Music Television. As President of MTV, she provided day-to-day leadership, strategy and management
of MTV, the #1 rated 24 hour cable network for teens and young adults. Prior to heading MTV, Christina was President of VH1 where she was instrumental in guiding the brand's reinvention, reviving ratings and driving growth. She had previously worked at MTV in the early-to-mid 90s where she oversaw the network's Marketing and On and Off-Air Promotions departments. Under her creative leadership, MTV won numerous advertising, design, and promotion awards from the Broadcast Design Association, PROMAX, CTAM and the Art Director's Club. While at both networks, Christina earned a reputation for her ability to effectively lead creative teams.
Christina has also won numerous personal honors for her leadership in the cable and entertainment industry, including being named a National Public Service winner at the 2002 Television Academy Emmy Awards, a NAMIC Quasar Vision Award winner, Top 10 African-Americans in Television in 2002 and Power 100 Women in Entertainment in 2003 by Ebony Magazine, Wonder Woman from Broadcasting and Cable Magazine and has been consistently honored by The Hollywood Reporter's Top 100 Women in Entertainment and Billboard's Top Women in Music.
Christina grew up in New York City and was a Girl Scout through high school. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Mt. Sinai Adolescent Health Center and the board of BRIC Arts Media Brooklyn. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two daughters.
