
Carmen Dubroc

Carmen Dubroc has over twenty-five years of senior marketing and management experience at some of America's best known brand leaders, including Calvin Klein, Godiva Chocolate, Charles of the Ritz Cosmetics, Avon Products, Inc., and Weight Watchers International. She also founded Womenspeak Inc., a seminar and consulting agency specializing in women's issues and interests. Over the years, she has been a frequent guest speaker and lecturer to business associations, women's organizations and marketing conferences. Earlier in her career Carmen was a teacher for five years, and was a Committee member for the New York State Commission on the Status of Women. Currently, she is a private investor in residential real estate in Manhattan. Carmen holds a B.A. in Languages from Benedictine College, and completed her Post-Graduate Degree at the Sorbonne University in France.
Carmen is a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts as well as a member of the Juliette Low Society. She also serves on the Program Committee for the Volunteers of America, Greater New York Chapter and the Advisory Board of iVillage, the world's largest online community for women. She is a member of the Royal Oak Society.
Carmen was introduced to the Council in 1993 through a marketing consulting project, and quickly became enthralled with the organization's mission. She joined the Board of Directors in 1997, and soon after became the Chair of the Marketing Committee. In 1998, she Co-chaired the Women of Distinction Breakfast, and in 2000, became the Chair of the Nominating Committee for a three-year term. She was elected as Third Vice President in 2002, and became Board President in 2004. As such, she has served as ex-officio member of all the Council's Board committees over the past four years.
