Trees for the 21st Century

Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors or Ambassadors who care about the environment will love this patch program. The Scouts for MillionTreesNYC program teaches how essential trees are to improving quality of life in urban settings, and gives your troop the opportunity to plant your very own tree! Learn to identify different tree species, investigate how trees help slow global climate change, improve air and water quality, serve as a habitat for animals, and are a source for products we use every day.

Your troop can earn up to three patches: (1) the Participation Patch, (2) the Plant Trees Patch, and (3) the Tree Care Patch. Download the patch program request and evaluation forms below, or email Lori Morea at lmorea@girlscoutsnyc.org
