Silver Awards
The Girl Scout Silver Award, the highest award for Girl Scouts 11-14, focuses on leadership, career exploration, challenge for personal growth and community action.
Girls start by choosing an issue that they care about. And following these 3 steps:
Step 1: Girls complete 1 of the following pre-requisites:
• Breathe. It’s Your Planet Love It! A Leadership Journey
• Amaze! It’s Your World Change It! A Leadership Journey
• Media. It’s Your Story - Tell It! A Leadership Journey
Step 2: Girls create a Take Action Project.
Girls implement a 50 hour (minimum) service project that will have a great impact on their community and complete the Silver Take Action Final Project Form. They must be sure to fill out the form in its entirety. Along with the form girls should include pictures, flyers and any other relevant information to create a portfolio. The project can be put together in a binder or folder. All answers should be typed.
Step 3: Girls mail their Take Action Final Project Report

Each project will then be reviewed by our volunteer committee and girls will receive an approval or addendum letter.
